Intel recently donated COVID care bags to local primary and secondary schools in the Leixlip, Celbridge and Maynooth areas.
A total of approximately 800 bags were donated to the schools to help as a COVID prevention measure and will be distributed as each schools deems appropriate, for example, to teachers and staff.
Each bag contains disinfectant wipes, hand sanitiser, snood face protection and 2m social distancing logo pen.
The packs were donated by the Intel Fab Enterprise Construction team who are based at the Leixlip campus.
Speaking about the donation, Intel’s External Relations Manager Lisa Harlow said, “The primary and secondary schools are such an integral part of our community here in North Kildare and we hope that this small gesture will be of practical support to them as they manage the ongoing challenges of COVID-19”.
