Intel Ireland shortlisted for three HR Leadership & Management awards

Intel Ireland have been shortlisted for three awards at the prestigious HR Leadership & Management Awards which take place each year to celebrate excellence in HR. Intel have been nominated in the categories of HR Team of the Year, Best Learning and Development Strategy and Best Workplace Diversity Strategy. The 2016 shortlist is made up of the cream of the HR industry in Ireland and the winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony on Thursday, March 3rd at the Ballsbridge Hotel Dublin.


About the shortlisted initiatives

HR Team of the Year: The Intel Ireland HR team comprises of over 50 HR professionals with Global, Regional and Country specific remit and reporting structure. This blend brings some very exciting opportunities and the team work together as one to enable the very best skills and capabilities to deliver world class products and services for Intel Corporation. There is strong evidence of the overall impact of the HR team across all business groups in Intel Ireland, in talent delivery, retention, employee engagement, strategy development based on business group priorities and direction, in addition to the suite of HR products and services delivered.

Best Learning and Development Strategy: Having unveiled a landmark new technology – the Quark system-on-a-chip – Intel Ireland’s HR team pioneered a highly innovative Learning & Development strategy to facilitate the journey for their new tech creation to move rapidly from start-up phase to operational excellence, international growth and business capability maturity. A ‘strataplex’ approach allowed for a focused weave of best-practice development initiatives to accelerate the competences of all employees, managers and leaders. Strong stakeholder management and project management excellence led to flawless execution, facilitating rapid headcount expansion, breakthrough business results and significant impact at a Corporate level.

Best Workplace Diversity Strategy: Intel has a bold vision to reach full representation in our workforce by 2020. Intel Ireland have been shortlisted for Best Workplace Diversity Strategy in 2015 having successfully increased the diverse pipeline of talent both internally and externally, enhanced our work environment to move towards a more inclusive culture and equipped management teams with effective toolkits to succeed in this journey of full representation. Through various inhouse and external initiatives, we are successfully moving towards our corporate vision and become leaders in our industry.
