Last year during Positive Ageing Week 2010, RTÉ ran a ‘Coming of Age’ season.  In the ‘End of Ageing’ documentary, Professor Rose Anne Kenny (TRIL P.I. & Professor of Geriatric Medicine TCD, Director of the Centre for Successful Ageing, St. James’s Hospital) looked at how & why Irish people are living longer than ever before; the social, biological & scientific changes that are increasing life spans; and how Ireland is leading the way in the development of age prevention technologies. The documentary also featured an interview with Niamh Scannell (Industry Director TRIL Centre & European Director of Health Research and Innovation, Intel Labs).
