Volunteering and giving back to the community is something Intel employees are passionate about. 2018 marks a special year for the Intel Corporation, on July 18th we celebrate 50 years.

To celebrate this special birthday our CEO, Brian Krzanich has set a challenge for 50,000 volunteers which is nearly half the company and over 1 million volunteer hours for 2018.
On our Leixlip campus we are relishing this challenge, just over two months into the year we have had over 200 employees give their time to volunteer for good causes, making packs for the “Intel Build A Bridge” challenge. These packs were then used by other employee volunteers taken to primary schools, where students are given an insight into the world of engineering. Employee volunteers have also been busy making back to school packs and mother’s day packs for local charities.
We will have many more events and opportunities to give back to our local communities in 2018, including cake sales, fun runs and the charity cycle.
If you have an idea of a project that you would like our assistance on please get in touch, we would love to hear from you. Contact details are below.

About Intel Involved
The Intel global volunteer program—Intel Involved—identifies a variety of opportunities for Intel employees, either as individual volunteers or in teams, to volunteer in the communities where they live and work. Through this program, Intel employees volunteer their time and talent to build strong communities that are inclusive, economically empowered, and environmentally sustainable. In Ireland, more than 40% of employees volunteer their time at least once a year. From participating in classroom activities to providing IT expertise, the impact of employee volunteer efforts are felt across the country.
