At the core of Intel Ireland is a passion for volunteering and community involvement. We are committed to making a positive impact throughout our local communities and supporting charitable organisations with their success.
Every year we select a signature charity for our employees to dedicate their combined efforts towards providing volunteer time and funds, raised through specially organised activities, to these chosen charities.
Employees will engage in and support a number of different activities and events throughout the year such as the annual Intel Charity Cycle, 5km Fun Run and Bake Sale to name a few. The 2020 Signature Charity will also benefit from Intel’s unique initiative, the Matching Grants Program, which motivates employees to engage in volunteerism by providing cash grants to the organisations where the employees volunteer their time.
For 2020, we have selected CMRF Crumlin as our signature charity. CMRF Crumlin provides vital funding for CHI Crumlin (previously known as Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin) and The National Children’s Research Centre to enable little patients to have the best possible outcomes.
About CMRF Crumlin
CMRF Crumlin provides vital funding for CHI Crumlin (previously known as Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin) and The National Children’s Research Centre to enable little patients to have the best possible outcomes.
When a child you love is sick, your top priority is finding the best care available. This is our priority too. CMRF Crumlin together with donors and partners fund initiatives, research, equipment and projects with three main aims:
- Saving young lives by funding critical research and equipment
- Supporting small victories everyday for children living with illness by improving their quality of life
- Creating brighter days for sick children and their families by funding comforts through our Giggle Fund and enhancing their environment
