On April 25th the 13th gradireland Graduate Recruitment Awards were held at Dublin’s Mansion House, a gala event for 550 of the country’s leading graduate recruiters, talent developers and industry stakeholders.
The awards, which are held in partnership with the Association of Higher Education Careers Services (AHECS), this year saw more than 150 of Ireland’s top employers shortlisted for awards. Over 13,300 students, from north and south of Ireland, participated in the vote to select Ireland’s most popular graduate recruiter, making it one of the largest gradireland Student Surveys ever.
On the night Intel Ireland was named Most Popular Graduate Recruiter in the Engineering Sector for the sixth year in a row.
Speaking about the awards, gradireland Director Mark Mitchell said, “companies at the gradireland Graduate Recruitment Awards recognise the amazing talent and potential of today’s graduates. The awards ceremony is a great way to recognise the hard work of graduate recruiters and the strategic importance of graduate recruitment for the continuing success of so many companies. It is also a great networking and socialising occasion that enables this diverse community to come together and celebrate the great work that they all do. We’re proud to be in a position to work with so many of them.”
The awards were presented by TV and media presenter Síle Seoige, with the winners chosen from across the graduate recruitment sector, reflecting the range of interest in the awards and the quality of the submissions received.
